Prior to the 2005-2006 school year, John P. Parker School was a Reading Renaissance school. Technology was infused into the reading program through Accelerated Reader. Although we are no longer a Renaissance Reading school, we still use AR as a supplement to our current curriculum and a means of encouraging students to read. The program provides teachers with an easy and effective way to monitor all forms of reading practice. Key Benefits
