The System to Achieve Food Equity (SAFE) Network will be hosting pop-food distribution sites from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. Monday, January 10, at Rees E. Price Elementary in East Price Hill and at Rockdale Elementary in Avondale. (While supplies last.)
This pop-up is a collaboration among the food distributors in the city including fresh produce from Freestore Foodbank and Last Mile Food Rescue, frozen dinners and soup from LaSoupe, and seven-day supper and snack boxes from UMC Food Ministry. The distribution is open to anyone!
The is a SAFE Network of individuals and organizations that are committed to improving food security in Cincinnati to ensure that all 66,000 children have the food that they need to grow, develop, learn and thrive. The SAFE Network includes emergency food organizations, healthcare, education and government institutions, data scientists and families in the Cincinnati area.
